The Intescia Group and the Explore Group are joining forces to create Europe's first AI-based B2B business intelligence and e-procurement platform.
The consolidated company will offer a unique range of solutions for tender management, thereby solidifying its leadership position in France and strengthening its presence in the Benelux countries, Italy, and Spain.
Intescia, a leader in public tender management solutions, announced today the acquisition of the Explore Group, the leading provider of information on tenders and private-sector projects. Following the acquisition of Italian market leader Telemat earlier this year, Intescia is consolidating its position with a unique portfolio covering construction, real estate, business services, healthcare, the energy transition, and retail, serving more than 20,000 clients and 100,000 users across Europe. In the short term, this consolidated company will generate 60 million in revenue and employ nearly 600 people.
We are delighted that the Explore Group is joining Intescia on this exciting journey. Through this acquisition, our clients gain the most comprehensive access to the business intelligence they need to grow their business in a challenging environment. Our AI-powered systems help them identify relevant opportunities and understand how to win them—a game-changing capability when it comes to complex bids.
“By joining forces with Intescia, our customers now benefit from a comprehensive range of data-driven sales prospecting solutions. The partnership with Intescia is fully in line with our vision for Explore.”
We are thrilled to be building Europe’s largest data platform for business intelligence on public tenders to accelerate the development of proprietary AI models—a decisive competitive advantage. The combined group will have a stronger financial profile and greater investment capacity:
- A portfolio of strong brands with excellent reputations in their respective industries: DoubleTrade, Spigao, Explore, Wanao, Sendao, Corporama, Scores & Decisions, Codata
- An extensive international footprint with a presence in the Benelux countries, Italy, Spain, Morocco, and Tunisia
- An expanded R&D team that combines data science and AI/ML expertise to drive innovation in products and data processing.
Intescia is a portfolio company of Five Arrows, while the Explore Group was backed by Activa Capital. Following the acquisition of the Italian company Telemat, Explore is Intescia’s second strategic acquisition and comes on the heels of investments by Five Arrows.
